What it do? What it do?
This weekend I went to Crested Butte with Cat, Bec, and the to be mother in law. We went to take care of final wedding plans(SUPER SYKED!) and we get in a little climbing.
Crested Butte has phenomenal stone, an impeccable setting, and should get more traffic than it does. My one let down is not flashing the J Crack on the High Times Boulder. I had been saving that one for a while... Oh and after pumping my self out, I decided I'd come back for it later... RAGE! I have been also saving the flash for See Spot Run in Hueco... I wonder if I will also come off from the top on the flash go too... Ughh.
I don't know anything about the boulder below, but Bec was syked on it, and I went up with her. I flashed the stand, and did the Sit first go after doing the stand? What is that? A double flash? One flash, and one you should have gone for the sit ASAP you idiot? Let me know if you know the name or any of that fun stuff. I will say that it was one of my favorite climbs I have done in Crested Butte to date. Check it out, high quality rock and movement.

In other news... I have been going to Evans a lot (afterwork), no crowds, perfect temps, and I get to climb for about 2 hours or more! Let me know if you are interested and I'll let you know when it is going down.
Kevin, DW, Rachel and Thomas went up to Lincoln Lake, I wonder if it lived up to the hype? I hope so!

Redcliff
Wow! View from a great coffee shop in Minturn, CO. (They have ice cubes made of coffee!!!!! SO bad ass!&*^*^*&@i-80uk!!!!!!!)
Hi to a lot of friends yesterday! Nice to see everyone, and sorry we didn't hang out more.
Kevin and I had seen a flow chart of Rich and Thomas plans, and not to be out done we charted our own course.
We( Cat, Jacinda, KB, Bec, Seth, and my self) warmed up on the girl dyno, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed this bloc. I believe Cat said it was her favorite warm up Boulder in CO. Cat has been really into Yoga, and seemlessly flowed through moves.
The main goal of the day was to avoid the heat, the smarm, and hit the Air Craft carrier boulder. I always go to red cliff, and never have been back to this block since I first sent Star Crossed Lovers. It has been about 2 years, and it took me a few minutes to remember the beta, fail.
I wanted Seth and Kevin to be able to have decent flash attempts. Seth crushed the line in good form, I repeated it, and Kevin is agonizingly close! BUT TIME THE FRICK OUT! Employee of the day went to Bec, she crushed Star Crossed Lovers with horrible twin beta! NICE!!! Cat was super close, but had to call it a day due to skin issues. NEXT TIME for sure!
Personally the stand out line for me of the day, was the Cool Arete. I did all of the moves but one high side pull that was baking in the sun. Super cool with nice tension rich moves. I also made some excellent links. It was nice to feel fairly strong on a somewhat hard problem. No excuses, I am expecting a send out of this one in September when the temps maybe more favorable.
********* Fun over
Seth, KB, Bec, and I decided to head to the Minturn Mile bloc. It has been some years since I have been on it, and truth be told I was expecting a send today. However, I brought the weak sauce, the fail sauce, and the i F*(&(*&(*U)**KING suck sauce to it.
Some of the moves on Return of the Jedi are cool, it is easy to work and sharp holds do not exist on it. My bitter soul would also like to say a lot of the climb is awkward, seems to have a gaggle of people on it all of the time, and as a result I am officially over it. We can now bomb this boulder, its cool. Next time.
This is only 1 of 2 climbing days of the weekend! Off to Evans tomorrow, and being lazy as hell for the rest of my day.

Ps - I have a video camera, but do not use it, I have been excited to shoot photos on my blackberry. What say you if I purchased a camera and snapped more photos????
